Learn how to check in and check out of an Opportunity on the VOMO App.
Joining an Opportunity
Follow these steps to check in yourself to an Opportunity that you have already signed up for:
1. Download the VOMO App from (iOS or Google Play).
2. Sign in using your username and password
3. Locate the organization under your profile and select the Opportunities tab to view the available upcoming Opportunities.
4. Select an Opportunity from the options, and click Join. This will give you the timeslot option for this Opportunity. Select Join again to choose the specific date and time slot.
5. Depending on the Opportunity, there may be questions to complete, like a waiver, when you Join. If you are associated with a Group, like a team of volunteers, you’ll have the option to select your Group or Join as an Individual.
6. Select Confirm to complete the process. VOMO will send you an email confirmation with the Opportunity details.
Check-In to an Opportunity
An hour before the Opportunity begins, a Check-In button will appear on the Opportunity page in the app. To check in, click that button, then click Check In and a time stamp will appear noting you are now checked in.
5. Now that you are checked in, a Check Out button appears to check yourself out when you're finished. When you click Check Out, a time stamp will appear to mark the exact time you checked out, and your hours will be recorded.
