What is the difference between an Admin and an Organizer?

Admins and Organizers both have the ability to access your Organization's Admin Dashboard. Admins have full editing permissions, while Organizers have limited permissions.

Admins and Organizers both have the ability to access your Organization's Admin Dashboard. Admins have full editing permissions, while Organizers have limited permissions. Here's a more detailed breakdown between the two Permissions types.

Admins have full privileges to do everything on the Admin Dashboard. These capabilities include:

  1. Creating Campaigns and Projects.
  2. Managing/Assigning Volunteers on ANY Projects, regardless if they created the project originally.
  3. Editing and Deleting ANY Project, regardless if they created the project originally.
  4. Inviting (and Re-Inviting) New Admins/Organizers/Volunteers.
  5. Changing Roles for any person in the People list.
  6. Creating and Managing ALL Groups.
  7. Issuing Background Checks for volunteers in your People List (Both Manual and through the Checkr integration).
  8. Viewing Organizational Analytics.
  9. Viewing and Exporting the Volunteer Resumes list in CSV format.
  10. Changing any Settings for your Account.
  11. Setting up the Checkr Integration for your Organization.
  12. Setting up the Planning Center Integration for your Organization.
  13. Requesting to turn on Giving for your Organization.
  14. Access to the Launch Tools for your Organization.
  15. Access to VOMO Rewards available for your Volunteers.

Organizers have limited privileges to functionality on the Admin Dashboard. These capabilities include:

  1. Creating Projects and adding them to Campaigns.
  2. Managing/Assigning Volunteers/Verifying Hours on Projects that they create or own ONLY.
  3. Editing and Deleting Projects that they create or own ONLY.
  4. Inviting (and Re-Inviting) NEW Volunteers.
  5. Viewing Organizational Analytics and the Volunteer Resumes page.
  6. Access to the Launch Tools for your Organization.
  7. Access to VOMO Rewards available for your Volunteers.
