Learn how to create a campaign, add a project to that campaign, and add that campaign to your Volunteer Hub. (Pro Feature)
Create a Campaign (Pro Feature):
- Log in to your Admin Dashboard.
- Select Campaigns on the left side navigation.
- In the top right side of the page select New Campaign button
- Fill in the necessary details required:
- Campaign Name
- Custom Campaign URL
- Campaign Privacy
- Public: Any VOMO Org can add Projects to a Public Campaign.
- Private: Private Campaigns can only have Projects added to it by your Org's Admins/Organizers/Child Orgs.
- Unlisted: Unlisted Campaigns will never be visible on any VOMO Hub, but can be accessed by the direct URL.
- Campaign Description
- Upload a cover image that highlights what this campaign is all about.
- Click the "Create Campaign" button at the top right of the page when you're ready to launch your campaign.
Add a Project:
- Access your Admin Dashboard.
- Select "Campaigns" from the left side navigation.
- Select your Campaign.
- In the middle of the page select "add project".
- A dialogue box will appear asking you to either "select project or type to search" or "create a new project".
- Find your project or create a new one and then click the green "Update Campaign" button at the bottom of the dialogue box.
Customize your Volunteer Hub:
- Access your Admin Dashboard.
- Go to the Settings > Hub Settings section.
- Click and drag the channels to either the Enabled Channels or Disabled Channels sections.
- Available Channels:
- Campaigns (all): All of your organization's campaigns in a channel.
- Projects (all): All of your organization's projects in a channel.
- Do It Yourself: Examples of Anytime/Anywhere ("Virtual") projects for volunteers to do on their own.
- Local Opportunities: All Public projects in VOMO geolocated based on your location.
- VOMO Categories: All projects (your and public) sorted by categories tagged by the project owner.
- Projects from Campaign: All projects in a campaign (one of yours or a public campaign) in a channel.
- List of Campaigns: Similar to "Campaigns (all)" except that you can specify which campaigns (yours or public) that you want to feature in a channel.
- List of Child Orgs (for multi-site accounts only): List of your child orgs in a channel for volunteers to see on your Volunteer Hub.
- Options for each channel:
- The title of each channel can be changed by selecting "Override Title".
- Channels related to campaigns can add Public campaigns by checking the box that says "Include Public Campaigns When Searching".
- Press the Save button on the top right corner of the screen.
- Refresh your Hub to see the changes.
