How Can VOMO Partners Get Involved With The Be A Neighbor Campaign?

We have introduced Public Campaigns in association with the Be A Neighbor Campaign. Here is how use them to get your organization involved.

Feature One: Adding your public Projects to The Be A Neighbor Campaign (Public Campaigns)

If you have a need for volunteers during this time, please make your projects public and place them into our public Be A Neighbor Campaign and we will highlight them on our main COVID-19 page.

  1. Login to your Admin Dashboard, select 'Projects' from the menu
    1. Click on '+New Project' near the top right of the screen OR
    2. Choose one of your existing projects and edit it.
  2. Find the 'Join Campaign' section
  3. Check the 'Include Public Campaigns When Searching' checkbox.
  4. Select 'Be A Neighbor Campaign'
  5. Scroll down and select 'Show Advanced Options'
  6. Make sure your project is set to 'Public' in the privacy section.
  7. Click 'Update Project' near the top right corner of the screen
  8. That's it! Your project is now being highlighted on the Be A Neighbor Campaign!

    Feature Two: Adding The Be A Neighbor Campaign (Public Campaign) to your hub

    Display the Be A Neighbor Campaign and show all of your willing volunteers ways they can be involved during this trying time.

    1. Login to your Admin Dashboard, select 'Settings' from the menu
    2. On the left side blue menu you should now see Hub Settings under the Settings option. Select it.
    3. Scroll down to the Disabled channels section and find and unused 'Projects from Campaign' channel.
    4. Check the 'Include Public Campaigns When Searching' checkbox.
    5. Click on the empty field and begin typing 'Be A Neighbor'
    6. You should see the Public Campaign appear as an option. Select it
    7. Drag the channel up into your Enabled channels Section.
    8. Click the Save button near the top right of the screen
    9. That's it! You are now displaying hundreds of opportunities for your volunteers to responsibly get involved providing relief during COVID-19.
