How do I invite users to test my Branded App in Apple iOS TestFlight and Google Play?

We've created some steps for how to designate testers of your Branded App on iOS and Android Devices.

In short, the VOMO Team will invite testers via email to the app testing environments for iOS and Android. A simple list of emails and the device that will be used for testing is enough, but there is more info below about the two testing environments.

Apple iOS TestFlight Testers

  1. Select a few internal testers who you would like to test the new App on their iOS Device.
    1. Note that the VOMO Team tests your Branded App in TestFlight too, so we will help catch anything that might not be right.
  2. Gather email addresses (preferably the Apple ID email address used to access the App Store) from the internal testers so that they receive the email invitation to join the TestFlight on their iOS Device.
    1. The internal testers will be added to TestFlight with an email invitation that will have instructions for downloading the TestFlight App and the downloading the Branded App from within the TestFlight App.
  3. Send the list of emails to the VOMO Team to be added to TestFlight.
  4. Have the internal testers send feedback so that you can provide it to the VOMO Team. Our QA Team will be testing alongside your testers, but would love feedback so that changes can be made before the app gets published in the App Store.

Google Play Internal Testers

  1. Select a few internal testers who you would like to test the new App on their Android Device.
  2. Gather email addresses (preferably the email address used to access the Google Play Store) from the internal testers so that they receive the email invitation to join the Internal Testing environment on their Android Device.
  3. Send the list of emails to the VOMO Team to be added to the Google Play Test.
  4. Have the internal testers send feedback so that you can provide it to the VOMO Team. Our QA Team will be testing alongside your testers, but would love feedback so that changes can be made before the app gets published in the Google Play Store.
