VOMO is a user-based platform. Meaning that everyone has to have a user account with a username (email) and password to access the platform. No matter which onboarding method you choose to implement, all volunteers will go through the user account creation process. All volunteers are required to create a user account first. Here's what they experience when creating a new profile on the web version or the VOMO App.

Web
1. A volunteer will be taken to a page asking if they are wanting to create a new account:
2. After they click choose a social media platform to sign up through or just their email, they will then complete their new volunteer profile by filling in their personal details:
Note that new volunteers will only be asked to provide the following information to create a user account on VOMO:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone
- Password
- Birth Month/Year
- Address (verified by Google Maps)
- Gender (optional)
If you have additional information that you require from new volunteers, read about registration forms in the next step below.
3. If your organization has an active Registration Form for new volunteers, that will appear next. After completing your Registration Form they will be redirected to your Hub. If you don't have an active Registration Form, the new volunteer will be taken directly to your Hub to find and join your Opportunities.

Alternatively, you can use the VOMO App to recruit new volunteers to create user accounts. Here's what that experience looks like for a volunteer that registers their user account using your Invitation Code through the VOMO App:
If a volunteer clicks Sign Up or Explore Organizations And Opportunities they will NOT be connected to your organization as a member. Make sure you give volunteers your Invitation Code if you want to use the VOMO App to recruit them to be volunteer members of your org.
