Does your volunteer program require name tags on site when a volunteer checks in? You can go the handwritten route but did you know that you can use a Zapier integration to integrate with a printer instead?
VOMO has a robust API with webhooks which will trigger when someone checks in at a Kiosk. As long as your Name Tag provider is integrated with Zapier, you can use this article to activate Zapier.
In Zapier you can search for VOMO, and once selected, you can use Kiosk as the trigger. This means that only when someone checks in to a physical Check-in Kiosk Station can a name tag be created.
The rest of the configuration will be up to you as the name tag configuration will be different between providers through Zapier. But essentially, in Zapier, a Kiosk Check-In through VOMO will be the trigger that activates the name tag provider (also connected in Zapier) to print.
If you are not finding your name tag solution in Zapier or would like to build your own custom integration, VOMO has an open API that you can use this article to connect to. Under webhooks, you can then subscribe to the Kiosk Check-in webhook for the integration to receive check-in events in real time.
You can learn more about using webhooks here.
